Woman Gets Stuck In Chimney Trying To Enter Home Of Man She Met Online
Can we call this crazy love? 28-year-old Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa was rescued from a chimney by the firefighters in Thousand Oaks, California after she got stuck while allegedly trying to break into the home of a man she met online. Once she was out and cleaned up, she was arrested and booked by police. See her mugshot below...
According to ABC, the man was not at home at the time, but when alerted, he admitted to authorities that he went on a few dates with Genoveva after they hooked up online. He also said that he had recently ended the relationship.
Did she really think he was going to want her back after she broke into his house by climbing through the chimney?
All I will add is thank God for a working and efficient Fire Service, she could've died in that chimney. Women, please stop doing such stupid things for love. Crazy Love.
Ventura County Fire Capt. Mike Lindbery, shared these images via Twitter.
He said the Urban Search and Rescue members had to dismantle the chimney in order to get her out, and she had to be lubricated with dish soap first. Though conscious when she was hoisted out, the woman was transported to a hospital for an evaluation.
