It's about time something new is tried by the gov anyway -
Nigerians resident abroad, under the aegis of Nigerians in the Diaspora Organisation (NIDO) has given the indication that it supports community policing as an effective means of checking crimes in the society.
Nigerians in diaspora are said to be currently studying how community policing works in the Europe and other countries with a view to making recommendations to the federal government on how to use it tackle the menace of Boko Haram and other security challenges.
